Henderson House Transitional Apartments, San Clemente

Henderson House is a fully furnished 8-unit apartment complex located in San Clemente, California, where 24 residents live for a period of 6 to 12 months, to give them time to consolidate the gains achieved at Friendship Shelter and complete the transition to independent living. During this time, residents continue to receive supportive services to help prevent a return to homelessness.

Henderson House provides a sober living environment and an opportunity to strengthen foundations established at Friendship Shelter.

A low monthly rent allows 24 Friendship Shelter graduates to save needed funds for independent housing.

Case Management and other supportive services continue to be provided by Friendship shelter staff and volunteers.
